President Mark Zappone To Speak Feb. 26
NORTHFIELD – Furthering its mission to promote cancer awareness and prevention, a local cancer foundation will begin a free speaker series later this month.
Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation President Mark Zappone will speak about emotional wellbeing, stress and cancer 6:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26 at Atlantic City Country Club.
“One of the things I want to focus on as president is the prevention and awareness aspect of our mission as a foundation,” said Zappone. “I’ve spoken about this topic in the past at a few hospitals in Philadelphia. We look forward to expanding this lecture series to include various types of cancer prevention and awareness.”
Zappone, of Linwood, is the former vice president of the foundation and was elected president in November. He is a certified family psychiatric clinician with a private practice in Northfield.
The event is free. A suggested donation of $15 will be accepted. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served. The lecture series is sponsored by Pain Specialists: Dr Morris Antebi and Associates, and Atlantic City Country Club. RSVP required. Contact us.
