Taking a grueling journey around Absecon Island, competitors from across the globe will propel their paddleboards and #PaddleItForward to help people with cancer. Registration is now open for the 11th Annual Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation Paddle For A Cause presented by Curexa Saturday, June 9 at Frank S. Farley State Marina at Golden Nugget Atlantic City.
More than 100 stand-up and prone paddleboarders, in addition to competitors in other types of watercraft including canoes, kayaks and rowboats, will embark on a 22.5-mile journey designed to test competitors mentally and physically similar to someone battling cancer. There are two options for people who want to participate in a non-competitive paddle. There is an 8-mile paddle to the Wonder Bar and back and a 4-mile option that finishes at the Wonder Bar.

What’s the difference between “Join as an Individual” and “Create a New Team”?
If you’re in charge of putting a team together choose “Create a New Team.” For example, if your Paddle team name is The Warriors, you would select “Create a New Team and then title your team page “The Warriors.” If you want to raise money on your own, click on “Join as an Individual.” For example, if Pete wants to start her own individual fundraising page for the Paddle For A Cause, he could title it something like: “Pete’s Paddle Fundraiser.”
